IB Exam Registration 

Starts October 1, 2020 and Ends October 31, 2020

Where? Online link IB Registration (grades 11 - 12)

Registration Dates: October 1 - October 31st. A $5.00 late fee per exam will be charged for any registration after October 31st until November 10th. You will NOT be able to register for an IB exam after November 10th.

Important Dates and Late Fees: 

  • Tuesday, October 1, 2020 at 8:00 AM - Registration Begins
  • Thursday, October 31, 2020 at 11:59 PM - Registration Ends 
  • After October 31, 2020 a late charge will be applied of $5.00 per exam
  • No Registrations, Cancellations or Changes to Registrations will be taken after Sunday, November 10, 2020.
  • A fee of $70.00 will be charged if the student does not complete internal assessments or doesn't sit for the exam. 


$58.00 per exam  (free and reduced lunch eligibility or financial need waivers are available when you register for the exam)

Late Fees: 

  • There will be a $5.00 late fee per exam ordered after Friday, November 1, 2020 through Sunday, November 10, 2020. 

Free and reduced lunch eligibility waivers or financial need requests do not cover late fees incurred by ordering late or cancelling an exam. Students who do not complete internal assessments or sit for an exam will be charged a $70.00 fee per exam missed.

What IB exams do I take? 

Grades 11 - 12

Students in grades 11 - 12 should register for the appropriate IB exams based on the classes they are in. If you are unsure please speak with your teacher. You must be in the testing course to take the IB Exams.

Tips in the registration site:

  1. When it asks you to select an IB Candidate Category, select based on the following definitions:
    1. Anticipated (you are a junior).
    2. Career Program (If you are in the PPS course right now).
    3. Course (you are a senior and not a diploma candidate)
    4. Diploma (Planning on earning the Diploma this year, May 2021 – you are a senior and are currently in TOK).
    5. Retake (no students should select this option).
  2. When it asks you to select your 1st Nationality – this is the country you were born in (e.g., Canada, United States).
  3. When it asks you to select your 1st Language – this is your primary language spoken in your home (e.g., English, French).
  4. 2nd Nationality (another country of origin where you are considered a citizen).
  5. 2nd Language (language you are fluent in other than your primary home language).
  6. 2021 Diploma Candidates please say yes to the TOK Assessment question and select your Extended Essay topic!

Exam Details:

IB Exams start April 30. A schedule with times and locations will be provided at a later date. 

Cost is $58.00 per exam (waivers and scholarships are available if needed)

Exams are held in May 2020.

You must complete all internal class assessments and any orals to take the test in May. If you do not complete these activities it is considered a missed exam and you will be charged a $70.00 fee per exam missed.

You may cancel an exam until Sunday, November 10th. To do so, log back into the registration site and select: Exam Cancellation Request located under 2020 IB Registration.
