Description:We'll be starting in the West Gym at 6pm. There will be a few different sessions where you can learn about the 9th grade teams and departments will also be available to provide families with information about Course Sequencing and curriculum options.

Winter Dance Concert December 12-13th at 7 p.m. in the auditorium.

All 5 Southwest dance classes will be performing.  Featured guest choreography by Michael Ingram and the husband/wife team of Peter Strom (class of '95) and Naomi Uyama in the Lindy-Hop from the jazz era.     

Congratulations to Reid Wixson, Director of Instrumental Music at Minneapolis Southwest High School, for being awarded the Minnesota Music Education Association Educator of the Year.

WINTER SPORT START DATES

Minneapolis Southwest will offer the following Winter Sports during the 2019-2020 School Year for all students in Grades 7-­12. If your student ­athlete is interested in participating in any of the Winter Sports please contact the Head Coach listed. All MSHSL eligibility paperwork must be completed prior to participation.
