Wind Ensemble

This advanced instrumental ensemble performs a broad range of music for winds and percussion in at least one concert each quarter. It is a smaller ensemble than the concert band. 

 
Both performance music and scales are practiced during wind ensemble's daily class rehearsals.  Throughout the year, each band member is expected to improve his/her technique and understanding of music. Wind ensemble participates in solo and large group contests each year.  Auditions for honor band and All State Band are encouraged.
