Weight Training

2015 saw the addition of a beautiful new Weight Training and Fitness Center in the North end of the West Building.  This weight Training Class is designed for students to take full advantage of this great Facility.  Students will design and implement their own personal fitness plan, based on the core principals, of Progression, Overload and Speficiity and their own goals.   Weight Training class activities will include aerobic, dynamic and static warm-up regimes, resistance training through free weights, weight training machines,body weight training exercises and resistance bands.   Strength  Training vs Endurance Training vs. Power Training will be a choice that students will make.  Students are graded on Participation, Strength or Endurance gains, Journaling in their Logs, and an end of semester quiz.
