Track and Field is one of the most respected sports in SW and in the state. The track and field program has long been storied with the CC team for its great distance programs. Most recently by Olympic hopeful Jamie Cheever, and 2 time State High Jump Champ Tatyana Pashibin. The program has a history of sucess and making athletes better for their other sports. 86% of the 2016 athletes were multi-sport athletes. The Girls Track team for 2016 had the highest spring GPA at 3.72 and a section Gold Award.

Southwest Track and Field is welcome to all.
Track is the sport that can find someplace for everyone to fit in. If you have questions come to the athletic office and ask what you could do in track and field. Everyone can find a home in SW field and track.
The 1st day of practice is Monday 3-13.

The Booster Club is made up of parents and guardians who believe in the Southwest Track andField, and who donate their time, talents and financial resources to continue the program'ssuccess. We are seeking volunteers to support Track & Field in three main ways:

Pole vault is the hardest event, yet one of the most rewarding in track and field, only the best athletes can compete in the vault as well as running/other field events.
If interested get started early, as it takes years to master.
