I am Ted Tellman, a teacher of students with an educational label of autism spectrum disabilities.
I have been teaching for 17 years first in Massachusetts then for the last five years in Minneapolis Public Schools. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in behavioral science at the University of New Hampshire and a Master of Science in education at Simmons University in Boston.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy cooking, singing, fishing and hanging out with my family.
I believe that a classroom and a school are both communities. That in order to be effective teachers must build a positive and safe community within their classrooms. Learning can and will be fun in my classroom!
