How can I save a Google Docs document as a template to share with your students or other MPS staff?
  • Login to Google Docs for staff
  • From Main Google Docs page click Browse Template Gallery
  • Click Minneapolis Public Schools Templates
  • Click Submit a template
  • Choose one of your docs to share
  • Enter a Description
  • Select a Category (you have to choose at least one)
  • Click Submit template
  • In about 60 seconds your template will be available for any of your students or staff to download their own copy.

How can students download a template?

  • Login to Google Docs for Students
  • From Main Google Docs page click Browse Template Gallery
  • Click Minneapolis Public Schools Templates
  • Students can type in their teachers last name to search only their teachers documents
  • Student can click Preview to view only, or click Use this Template to download their own copy of the template
