Ski wax is a material applied to the bottom of skis or snowboards to improve the ski's performance on snow. It's both an art and a science, and the right wax and technique can give you an edge in your next race. The best place to learn about waxing is in Coach Dundon's room (E23) which has a space dedicated to ski waxing during the ski season. You can get advice from coaches, volunteer parents and veteran skiers.
Parent volunteers are always needed and if you can help. No experience is needed, and you'll become a ski wax expert yourself in no time.
The sections to the right have more information including a Waxing 101 guide and links to videos for "how-to" advice.
