Welcome Class of 2013 to your senior year. It will be an exciting and a very busy one for you and your families.  We want to take this time to put out information of certain senior deadlines right now that you and your parents need to know and some future dates to be aware of. Below is the list for now.

Southwest Yearbooks are being ordered right now. Yearbooks must be pre-ordered at a cost of $75.00. Prices increase to $80 in November and $85.00 in January.  If you don't want to have the Lifetouch picture for your senior photo and would like us to take a picture, please contact Linda Huntzicker at lhuntzic@mpls.k12.mn.us for more information and to set up an appointment.  We will be taking pictures on Friday, November 2nd. For $25 you will receive 10 - 12 shots, 2- 4x7, 8 - 2x3 and a jump drive of all the pictures that were taken. Yearbook forms are available in the Main Office to pick up or visit the school website under Activities and then click Yearbook.

Drop off the following to the Main Office by the following dates:

November 1 - Name verification form for your diploma - Due to Counseling Office              
December 3, 2012 - ADS for Grads are due in Main Office.               
December 11, 2012   Senior Pictures and Quotes are due in Main Office 

November 14 - Senior Assembly with Jostens to order cap/gown  - 9:15 a.m. (2nd hour)  All seniors will meet in the auditorium to receive packets to take home. Families can look over and perhaps order graduation announcements and other items that will be delivered in the spring. Also, students will order cap/gowns. Very important for all seniors to attend!! 

Check back regularly for further updates pertaining to your senior year.  Much more information regarding graduation will be mailed directly to all homes sometime in March.
