Join The Club!
The Southwest Ultimate Club is open to all high school and middle school students with an interest in Ultimate. We encourage all students from schools without a club to participate at our school.

Ultimate is a sport involving rigorous activity and some risk. We do conditioning and preparation for the game environment. All players should be ready for the situations that arise during play. Although the MUS Ultimate team is a relaxed and fun atmosphere, it is understood that members will attend all practices, games, and tournaments to their ability.

To register:

You need to register both, with Southwest MUS, and USA Ultimate separately.

Southwest MUS needs the following forms (see "Forms" link to the right):

  • Club application (accompanied by a check for $100 payable to Southwest Ultimate Frisbee Club)

  • Medical authorization

If you have a parent who's willing to help with driving to games and tournaments, we'll also need a chaperone form.  Copies of all three forms plus the schedule for the season are attached.  There are two ways to turn everything in - either give it to Nora Kane (or Chris, if Nora's not available) at practice, or mail it to the Booster Committee Contact (above).

USA Ultimate:  Register at their site: 

This is required Annually (calendar year expiration)  Cost:  about $29.   If completed early there is often a discount. Be sure to complete the waiver. This is required for participation in games and tournaments.

If you provide your e-mail, you will be added to the team Google Groups e-mail: Southwest-Ultimate@googlegroups.com as a part of the registration process.

To get added to the list, you will need to:

  1. Ask to be invited.   Ask either:  cvhtoo@comcast.net or david@feltault.net
  2. Respond the the Invitation e-mail that we will generate for you.
At MÜS, we encourage everyone with an interest in Ultimate and frisbees to come out and play! Learn to throw and catch a disc!

Sure we field teams in competitive leagues, but we also provide numerous opportunities for everyone to learn and play. Even part time participation is enthusiastically embraced.
