The Southwest International Club is open to all overseas exchange students and friends or host parents who would like to spend time together. We plan to visit various restaurants and museums around the Twin Cities every few months. In addition, the club will periodically meet after school to discuss the customs and cultures of those countries represented by our overseas students. (Among the countries that were represented during the 2013--2014 school year: Austria, China, France, Poland, Russia, Vietnam. During the 2015--2016 school year, Southwest had students from China, Peru, Italy, Sweden, Japan and Germany.) There are close to 15 exchange students attending Southwest this year.
The International Club's first get-together for the 2016--2017 school year will be held on Wednesday, October 26, at 3:15, in Room 306. A light snack will be served. (Native-born Southwest students are also welcome -- and encouraged -- to attend.)
