This year I am teaching Advanced ELL 9 and co-teaching Algebra 1.  I coordinate the ELL program and really like collaborating with my colleagues and friends to support our students' learning in all subjects.  I have been teaching in Minneapolis Public Schools for 20 years.  13 of these years have been at Southwest High School.

A little more about me...

 I earned my BA from Ripon College in Ripon, WI, with a major in German and a minor in English.  After graduation, I moved to Bonn, Germany and taught in the English Department at the University of Bonn.  It was a fabulous first teaching experience, which led to my decision to return to Minneapolis to earn my Masters in Education in Second Languages and Cultures at the University of Minnesota.
