US History is a course that covers the history of  our country from pre-Columbian times to the present. The goal is for students to have a better understanding of the nation they live in, and learn what it means to study history. The course cover themes that recur over time including: Religion, Power, Economy, Civil Rights, etc. Students in this class become historians as they analyze and learn to argue their own interpretation of past events and their significance.
