It was a dark and stormy night..... No that is the beginning of my novel.

Family:

I have a wife and 2 grown children (My first grandchild, Anabelle, is due this November).

Educatiion:

I graduated from Clairemont High school in San Diego, California.  I competed in Cross-country running, swimming (3 years), and wrestling.

I have 3 college degrees; a Bachelor of Arts in Psycology from the Uniiversity of California at San Diego, a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics from the Univrsity of Minnesota.

The early years:

I was born in 1949. A true baby boomer. As the son of a careeer Navy chief I moved a lot as a child. When I was around 10 years old my family moved to San Diego, California, where I grew up.

Post High School:

Before I became a teacher at the age of 40, I worked in the restaurant industry for about 20 years.

I am a Vietnam war veteran.

Now:

I have taken up bicycling. In the summer of 2007 I rode a transcontinental. That is I rode my bike 3567 miles, from Astoria, Oregon to Portsmouth, New Hampshire. It took seven weeks and was an awesome experience.
 

This last summer I revisted Vietnam along with Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and India. I also built a two story building that will be used as a shop for me and a studio for my wife.
